Enabling Multitouch Mode

You can change mouse settings to customise how your SMART product interprets the way in which you press on the interactive screen. If your interactive screen uses DViT technology and has three cameras, two people can work on the interactive screen simultaneously using Multitouch mode. For example, if one person picks up a pen tray pen, another person can use a finger to write in the same colour elsewhere on the screen.

To enable Multitouch mode

  1. Open the SMART Notebook control panel.

  1. Press SMART Hardware Settings.

The upper area of the control panel displays an image of the SMART product connected to the computer.

  1. If your computer is connected to more than one SMART product, the upper area of the control panel displays an image of each SMART product. Press the image of the product with the settings that you want to change.

  2. Select Mouse and Gesture Settings in the list.

  3. Select Multitouch Mode.

NOTE: To disable this option, clear the selection of Multitouch Mode.

  1. Press OK to close the control panel.
