Hiding and Moving the Floating Tools Toolbar




The Floating Tools toolbar is a customisable palette of buttons that floats on top of other programs. You can minimise the toolbar, hide it or move it to another area of the screen.




To minimise the Floating Tools toolbar




Press Minimise FTMinimize.pngin the Floating Tools toolbar.




The toolbar's tool buttons disappear, but the Maximise FTMaximize.pngand Move FTMove.pngbuttons remain.

NOTE: To display the toolbar's tool buttons, press Maximise FTMaximize.png.




To hide the Floating Tools toolbar




Press the SMART Board icon NotebookIcon.png in the notification area and then select Hide Floating Tools.

NOTE: If your computer isn't currently connected to a SMART interactive product, the SMART Board icon includes an X in its bottom right-hand corner NotebookIconX.png.




The Floating Tools toolbar disappears, including the Maximise and Move buttons.

NOTE: To show the Floating Tools toolbar, press the SMART Board icon NotebookIcon.png in the notification area and then select Show Floating Tools.




To move the Floating Tools toolbar




Press Move FTMove.pngin the Floating Tools toolbar and then drag the toolbar to the new location.




If the toolbar is maximised, you can move the toolbar anywhere on the display.




If the toolbar is minimised, it is locked to the left edge of the display. You can move it anywhere along the left edge.
