Opening a File

With SMART Notebook 10, you can open the following file types:

• .notebook (the default file format for SMART Notebook software 9.5, 9.7 and 10)

• . xbk (the default file format for SMART Notebook software 8, 9.0 and 9.1)

Once you have opened a file, you can save the file as a .notebook or . xbk file.

The method by which you open a file is the same for all versions of SMART Notebook software.

To open a file

1. Press Open .

The Open dialogue box appears.

2. Browse to and select the file that you want to open.

3. Press Open.

TIP: You can open a recently opened document by selecting the File menu and then selecting the file name.
