To customize the installation package, open the SMARTEducationSoftware.msi file in SMART Install Manager (see Opening an installation package), and then set the controls on each page.

SMART Notebook: Optional Settings |

Select to enable hardware acceleration. |
Through hardware acceleration, SMART Notebook software completes some tasks using your computer’s graphics processing unit (GPU) rather than its central processing unit (CPU). Hardware acceleration improves the performance of SMART Notebook software on most computers. However, hardware acceleration can cause issues on some computers, such as content not displaying correctly and SMART Notebook software not responding. If users are encountering these issues, you can disable hardware acceleration. |
