Drawing Straight Lines and Arcs on a Page

You can use the Line tool to draw straight lines and arcs.

You can add a line to your page, and then edit its properties. Alternatively, you can customize the line, including its style, color and endings, and then add it to your page.

NOTE: To remove a straight line or arc that you created using the Line tool, you must delete it. You're unable to remove these lines using the Eraser tool.

To draw a line or arc

  1. Press Line , and then select an available line style.

  1. Create a line by pressing where you want the line to start and dragging to where you want the line to end.

TIP: If the available line styles cover the area you want to create the line in, press the X symbol to the right of the available line types.

  1. To customize the line, select the line, and then edit its properties.

NOTE: You can also manipulate the line.

To customize a line and then add it to the page

  1. Press Line , and then select an available line style.

  1. If the Properties tab isn't visible, press Properties .

  2. Press Line Style.

  3. Select the color, thickness and style for the line.

NOTE: If you want to save this line style for future use, press Save Tool Properties.

  1. Create a line by pressing where you want the line to start and dragging to where you want the line to end.

NOTE: You can select a line, and then edit or manipulate it.
