Using Bridgit conferencing software

Bridgit software is a client/server program that lets you share information with anyone, anywhere in the world.

Note

To create a Bridgit software meeting

  1. Press the SMART Board icon in the notification area, and then select Instant Conferencing.

    Note 

    If your computer isn’t currently connected to an interactive product, the SMART Board icon includes an X in its lower-right corner .

    The Instant Conferencing Using SMART Bridgit window appears.

  2. Press Share My Desktop.

    The Create Conference dialog box appears.

  3. Type a meeting name.

  4. Type a password, and then confirm the password.

  5. Type your name or a name that identifies the interactive product to meeting participants.

  6. Press OK.

    Your desktop is now available for sharing.

To join a meeting

  1. Press the SMART Board icon in the notification area, and then select Instant Conferencing.

    Note 

    If your computer isn’t currently connected to an interactive product, the SMART Board icon includes an X in its lower-right corner .

    The Instant Conferencing Using SMART Bridgit window appears.

  2. Press Join a Conference.

    The Bridgit Conferencing Software window appears.

  3. Select the meeting you want to join, and then press Join Meeting.

To configure conference settings

  1. Press the SMART Board icon in the notification area, and then select Instant Conferencing.

    Note 

    If your computer isn’t currently connected to an interactive product, the SMART Board icon includes an X in its lower-right corner .

    The Instant Conferencing Using SMART Bridgit window appears.

  2. Press Configure Conferencing Settings.

    The Configure Conference Settings dialog box appears.

  3. Type the Server name.

  4. Type your Account name and Account password.

  5. Press OK.
