Disabling hardware acceleration

SMART Recorder constantly take screen captures as you record. Some operating systems take screen captures very slowly and this can affect recording quality. To improve recording quality, disable hardware acceleration or upgrade your video driver and video card.

Note 

This procedure may vary depending on your version of Windows operating system and your system preferences.

To disable hardware acceleration

  1. Open the Windows operating system’s Control Panel.

  2. Double-press Display.

    The Display Properties dialog box appears.

  3. Press the Settings tab.

  4. Press the Advanced button.

  5. Press the Troubleshoot tab.

  6. Drag the Hardware Acceleration slider to None.

  7. Press OK.

  8. Restart your computer.
