Using the Screen Capture toolbar

The Screen Capture toolbar appears on top of active programs. It enables you to take a screen capture of an image in any window and automatically insert it on a page in a Whiteboard file.

ClosedTo take a screen capture of an area

  1. Clear the Capture to new page check box to save the screen capture to the current page rather than a new page.

  2. Press Area CaptureArea Capture icon.

    The pointer changes to crosshairs.

  3. Drag the crosshairs on the screen to define the area you want to capture.

  1. Clear the Capture to new page check box to save the screen capture to the current page rather than a new page.

  2. Press Window CaptureWindow Capture icon.

  3. Select the window that you want to appear in the screen capture.

  1. Clear the Capture to new page check box to save the screen capture to the current page rather than a new page.

  2. Press Full Screen CaptureFull Screen Capture icon.

  3. If more than one display is connected to your computer, select the display you want to take a screen capture of, and then press OK.

  1. Clear the Capture to new page check box to save the screen capture to the current page rather than a new page.

  2. Press Freehand CaptureFreehand Capture icon.

    The pointer changes to crosshairs.

  3. Drag the crosshairs on the screen to define the area you want to capture.
