You can use the SMART Keyboard to type text. The SMART Keyboard eliminates the need for a physical keyboard.
Press the SMART Board icon in the notification area, and then select Keyboard.
NOTE: If your computer isn't currently connected to a SMART interactive product, the SMART Board icon includes an X in its bottom right corner 
.
The SMART Keyboard appears.
NOTE: You can also start the SMART Keyboard by pressing the Keyboard button on the pen tray (on interactive whiteboards) or pressing the Keyboard function button (on interactive pen displays).
The SMART Keyboard is available in several views, including Classic, Number Pad and Simple. When you start the SMART Keyboard, it appears in the most recently used view. You can change the view at any time.
