Showing, hiding and moving the Floating Tools toolbar

You can minimise the Floating Tools toolbar, hide it or move it to another area of the screen.

To show the Floating Tools toolbar

1. Press the SMART Board icon in the notification area and then select Show Floating Tools.

   Note 

   If your computer isn’t currently connected to an interactive product, the SMART Board icon includes an X in its lower right-hand corner.

To minimise the Floating Tools toolbar

1. Press Minimise in the Floating Tools toolbar.

   The toolbar’s tool buttons disappear, but the Maximie and Move buttons remain.

   Note 

   To display the toolbar’s tool buttons, press Maximise.

To hide the Floating Tools toolbar

1. Press the SMART Board icon in the notification area and then select Hide Floating Tools.

   Note 

   If your computer isn’t currently connected to an interactive product, the SMART Board icon includes an X in its lower right-hand corner.

   The Floating Tools toolbar disappears, including the Maximise and Move buttons.

   Note 

   To show the Floating Tools toolbar, press the SMART Board icon in the notification area and then select Show Floating Tools.

 To move the Floating Tools toolbar

1. Press Move in the Floating Tools toolbar and then drag the toolbar to the new location.

   If the toolbar is maximised, you can move the toolbar anywhere on the display.

   If the toolbar is minimised, it is locked to the left edge of the display. You can move it anywhere along the left edge.
