Getting started with your LightRaise 40wi interactive projector

Using your LightRaise 40wi interactive projector, you can write, draw and erase digital ink, and manipulate objects.

Writing, drawing and erasing digital ink

Using the Floating Tools toolbar (see Using the Floating Tools toolbar) and the interactive projector pen, you can write or draw digital ink.

To write or draw digital ink

1. Pick up the pen.

2. Press Pen in the Floating Tools toolbar.

3. Write or draw using the pen.

To erase digital ink

1. Pick up the pen.

2. Press Eraser in the Floating Tools toolbar, and then select one of the available eraser sizes.

3. Erase using the pen.

Manipulating objects

Objects include icons, buttons, links and other components of programs that appear on your screen. You can manipulate these objects using your interactive projector pen as described below.

To select or clear the selection of an object

1. Press the object with the pen.

   Notes 

   • This action performs a standard mouse click.

   • This action starts programs if your operating system is set to start programs on a single click.

To double-click an object

1. Press the object twice in the same spot with the pen.

   Note 

   This action starts programs if your operating system is set to start programs on a double-click.

To Control-click an object

1. Press and hold the object with the pen.

To move an object

1. Press and hold the object with the pen.

2. Move the pen.

3. When you reach the position you want to move the object to, release the pen.
