Showing, hiding and moving the Floating Tools toolbar

You can minimize the Floating Tools toolbar, hide it or move it to another area of the screen.

To show the Floating Tools toolbar

1. Control-click the Board Tools icon in the Dock, and then select Show Floating Tools.

   Note 

   If your computer isn’t currently connected to an interactive product, the Board Tools icon includes an X in its lower-right corner.

To minimize the Floating Tools toolbar

1. Press Minimize in the Floating Tools toolbar.

   The toolbar’s tool buttons disappear, but the Maximize and Move buttons remain.

   Note 

   To display the toolbar’s tool buttons, press Maximize.

To hide the Floating Tools toolbar

1. Control-click the Board Tools icon in the Dock, and then select Hide Floating Tools.

   Note 

   If your computer isn’t currently connected to an interactive product, the Board Tools icon includes an X in its lower-right corner.

   The Floating Tools toolbar disappears, including the Maximize and Move buttons.

   Note 

   To show the Floating Tools toolbar, Control-click the Board Tools icon in the Dock, and then select Show Floating Tools.

To move the Floating Tools toolbar

1. Press Move in the Floating Tools toolbar, and then drag the toolbar to the new location.

   If the toolbar is maximized, you can move the toolbar anywhere on the display.

   If the toolbar is minimized, it is locked to the left edge of the display. You can move it anywhere along the left edge.
