Positioning the icon strip

If you set up a tool strip or custom icon strip, you can reposition these strips at any time.

Position the icon strips on either the left, right or bottom edge of the interactive product (in the black border). Wherever you position it, make sure that the edge of the strip is aligned with the frame of the interactive product. You must then recalibrate the position of the strip.

To recalibrate the position of the strip

1. Press the SMART Board icon in the notification area, and then select Control Panel.

   Note 

   If your computer isn’t currently connected to an interactive product, the SMART Board icon includes an X in its lower-right corner .

2. Press SMART Hardware Settings.

   If your computer is connected to more than one interactive product, the upper area of the control panel displays an image for each product. Press the image of the product you want to change settings for.

3. Select Set Up Icon Strips in the list.

4. Select the icon strip you want to move.

5. Press Position Strip to display the calibration screen.

6. Follow the on-screen instructions to define the corners of the strip.

   Note 

   If you press the screen too far from the edge of the icon strip, an error message appears and you must try again.

7. Press OK to close the control panel.
