The Screen Capture toolbar appears on top of active programs. It enables you to take a screen capture of an image in any window and automatically insert it on a page in a .notebook file.
To take a screen capture of an area
Press the SMART Board icon in the notification area, and then select Other SMART Tools > Screen Capture Toolbar.
Note
If your computer isn’t currently connected to an interactive product, the SMART Board icon includes an X in its lower-right corner .
Clear the Capture to new page check box to save the screen capture to the current page rather than a new page.
Press Area Capture .
The pointer changes to crosshairs.
Drag the crosshairs on the screen to define the area you want to capture.
An image of this area appears on a page.
To take a screen capture of a window
Press the SMART Board icon in the notification area, and then select Other SMART Tools > Screen Capture Toolbar.
Note
If your computer isn’t currently connected to an interactive product, the SMART Board icon includes an X in its lower-right corner .
Clear the Capture to new page check box to save the screen capture to the current page rather than a new page.
Press Window Capture .
Select the window that you want to appear in the screen capture.

To take a screen capture of the entire screen
Press the SMART Board icon in the notification area, and then select Other SMART Tools > Screen Capture Toolbar.

Clear the Capture to new page check box to save the screen capture to the current page rather than a new page.
Press Full Screen Capture .
If more than one display is connected to your computer, the Select Display dialog box appears. Select the display you want to take a screen capture of, and then press OK.

To take a screen capture of a freehand area
Press the SMART Board icon in the notification area, and then select Other SMART Tools > Screen Capture Toolbar.

Clear the Capture to new page check box to save the screen capture to the current page rather than a new page.
Press Freehand Capture .
