Adding shapes to graphs
You can add a shape to a graph, and then display the coordinates of its vertices.
To add a shape to a graph

Create a shape.

Press the shape and drag it over the graph.
To display the coordinates of the shape’s vertices

Select the shape.

Press the shape’s menu arrow, and then select .
Note
To hide the coordinates, press the shape’s menu arrow, and then select again.
To display side lengths

Select the shape.

Press the shape’s menu arrow, and then select .
SMART Notebook Math Tools calculates the lengths based on the graph’s units.
To reflect the shape

Select the shape.

Press the shape’s menu arrow, and then select .

Select , , or .
A reflection of the shape appears on the graph. The original shape doesn’t move.
