Adding a Screen Shade to a Page

If you want to cover information and reveal it slowly during a presentation, you can add a Screen Shade to a page.

If you add a Screen Shade to a page and save the file, the Screen Shade appears over the page the next time you open the file.

NOTE: If you add a Screen Shade to a page, the Screen Shade appears over the current page only and doesn't appear over other pages or other programs.

To add a Screen Shade to a page

Select View > Screen Shade.

A Screen Shade appears over the entire page.

NOTE: You can also add a Screen Shade to a page in the Page Group view.

To reveal part of the page

The small circles at the edges of the Screen Shade are resize handles. Click and drag a resize handle to reveal part of a page.

To remove the Screen Shade from a page

Select View > Screen Shade.

OR

Click the Exit button in the upper right corner of the Screen Shade.
