SMART Notebook Toolbar




The SMART Notebook toolbar enables you to select and use a variety of commands and tools within the SMART Notebook window.

NOTES

You can move the toolbar to the top or bottom of the interactive screen.

You can customise the toolbar so that it includes the tools that you use most frequently.




The following table describes the functions of each toolbar button in the default SMART Notebook toolbar.

Next Page

Display the next page in the current file.

Insert Blank Page

Insert a new, blank page in the current file.

Open

Open a .notebook file.

Save

Save the current file.

IconPaste.png

Paste

Paste clipboard contents on the page.

IconUndo.png

Undo

Reverse the effect of the last action.

IconRedo.png

Redo

Reinstate the last action reversed with the Undo command.

IconDelete.png

Delete

Delete all selected objects.

IconScreenShade.png

Screen Shade

Add a Screen Shade to the current page.

IconFullScreen.png

Full Screen

Display the current page in Full Screen view.

IconTransparentBackground.png

Transparent Background

Display the current file in Transparent Background mode.

IconDualPageDisplay.png

Dual Page Display

Display two pages side by side.

IconDualWriteMode.png

Dual Write Mode

Enable two people to work simultaneously.




This button appears in the default toolbar only if you're using a SMART Board D600 series interactive whiteboard.

Draw a freehand object on the current page.

This button appears in the default toolbar only if your computer is connected to a SMART interactive product.

Erase objects on the current page.

Lines

Draw a straight line or arc on the current page.

Shapes

Draw a shape on the current page.

Shape Recognition Pen

Draw a freehand object on the current page that SMART Notebook recognises and converts into a rectangle, ellipse, triangle or arc.

Magic Pen

Create freehand objects that slowly fade, open a magnification window or open a spotlight window.

Fill

Define a fill effect and then apply it to objects.

Select a font for your next text object.

Display the Properties tab and then change an object's properties.
