SMART Notebook 10 for Windows Operating Systems
The SMART Notebook toolbar enables you to select and use a variety of commands and tools within the SMART Notebook window.
NOTES
You can move the toolbar to the top or bottom of the interactive screen.
You can customise the toolbar so that it includes the tools that you use most frequently.
The following table describes the functions of each toolbar button in the default SMART Notebook toolbar.

Insert a new, blank page in the current file. |

Reverse the effect of the last action. |

Add a Screen Shade to the current page. |

Display the current page in Full Screen view. |

Transparent Background |
Display the current file in Transparent Background mode. |

Dual Page Display |
Display two pages side by side. |

Dual Write Mode |
Enable two people to work simultaneously. This button appears in the default toolbar only if you're using a SMART Board D600 series interactive whiteboard. |

Screen Capture Toolbar |
Open the Screen Capture toolbar. |

SMART Document Camera |
Insert an image from a SMART Document Camera. |

Insert Table |
Insert a table on the current page. |

Select objects on the current page. |

Pens |
Draw a freehand object on the current page. |

Calligraphic Pens |
Draw freehand objects in calligraphic ink. This button appears in the default toolbar only if your computer is connected to a SMART interactive product. |

Creative Pens |
Draw a freehand object on the current page using a Creative Pen. |
|
Eraser |
Erase objects on the current page. |
|
Lines |
Draw a straight line or arc on the current page. |
|
Shapes |
Draw a shape on the current page. |
|
Shape Recognition Pen |
Draw a freehand object on the current page that SMART Notebook recognises and converts into a rectangle, ellipse, triangle or arc. |

Magic Pen |
Create freehand objects that slowly fade, open a magnification window or open a spotlight window. |
|
Fill |
Define a fill effect and then apply it to objects. |
|
Text |
Select a font for your next text object. |
|
Properties |
Display the Properties tab and then change an object's properties. |
|
Measurement Tools |
Use a ruler, protractor, Geodreieck protractor or compass. |
|
Move Toolbar |
Move the SMART Notebook toolbar to the top or bottom of the interactive screen. |
