Creating files

When you start SMART Notebook software for the first time, a tutorial file opens automatically. When you start the software subsequent times, a new .notebook file opens automatically. However, you can create a new file at any time.

To create a file

1. Select File > New.

   If you’re working on a file with unsaved changes, a dialogue box appears and prompts you to save the current file. Press Yes to save your changes and then follow the on-screen instructions.
