Opening files

With SMART Notebook 11 software, you can open the following:

• .notebook files (the default file format for SMART Notebook 9.5, 9.7, 10 and 11 software)

• .xbk files (the default file format for SMART Notebook 8.x, 9.0 and 9.1 software)

Once you have opened a file, you can save the file as a .notebook file.

The method by which you open a file is the same for all versions of SMART Notebook software.

To open a file

1. Press Open File.

   The Open dialogue box appears.

2. Browse to and select the file.

3. Press Open.

   Tip 

   You can open a recently opened file by selecting the File menu and then selecting the file name.
