SMART Notebook 10 for Windows Operating Systems
You can export your .notebook file in a variety of formats, including HTML and PDF, as well as Becta Interactive Whiteboard Common File Format (CFF) files, PowerPoint files and image files.
NOTES
SMART Notebook software doesn’t include attachments when you export files as images. To include attachments, export your file as either HTML or PDF (Adobe Reader 6.0 or later).
SMART Notebook software doesn’t export files that you attach to your .notebook file as a shortcut. To include an attachment, attach a copy of the file.
You can set SMART Notebook software to export a .notebook file automatically when you display a different page or after a specified period of time.
SMART Notebook software doesn’t export some gradient, pattern and image effects. These effects can appear as a solid fill or appear incorrectly in the exported file.
Select File > Export > Web Page.
Browse to the folder where you want to export the file.
Type a name for the file in the File name box.
Press Save.
Select File > Export > Image Files.
Select the folder where you want to export the image files.
Select an Image Type.
Select an image Size.
Press Save.
Select File > Export > PDF.
The Export PDF dialog box appears.
Select Thumbnails, Handouts or Full Page in the Print What column.
To add a header, a footer or a date to each printed page, type information in the Header, Footer and Date boxes.
To add a page number to each printed page, select the Show page numbers check box.
If you’re printing thumbnails or handouts, select a Layout.
To print the file, select Print all.
OR
To print selected pages, select Pages, and then type the page numbers you want to print. Separate individual page numbers with commas and separate page ranges with a hyphen, for example, 1,2,4-7.
Press Save.
The Print as PDF dialog box appears.
Browse to the folder where you want to export the file.
Type a name for the file in the File name box.
Press Save.
Select File > Export > CFF.
The Save As dialog box appears.
Browse to the folder where you want to export the file.
Type a name for the file in the File name box.
Press Save.
NOTE: You can also import CFF files.
Select File > Export > PowerPoint.
The Save As dialog box appears.
Browse to the folder where you want to export the file.
Type a name for the file in the File name box.
Press Save.
NOTE: You can also import PowerPoint files into .notebook files.
