Adding or removing columns, rows or cells
If you want to customize a table, you can add columns or rows.
To add a column

Select a column.

Right-click in the column, and then select .
A new column appears to the right of the current column.
To remove a column

Select the column.

Right-click in the column, and then select .
To add a row

Select a row.

Right-click in the row, and then select .
A new row appears below the current row.
To remove a row

Select the row.

Right-click in the row, and then select .
To remove a cell

Select the cell.

Right-click in the cell, and then select .
Note
You’re unable to remove a cell if it provides the only connection between two halves of a table.
