Managing a Shout It Out! activity

You can manage the Shout It Out! activity session by moving student contributions on the Notebook desktop, pausing student contributions, and by turning off the contributor name displays. You can also end and save the activity to use later.

ClosedTo move student text or image responses

  1. In the Notebook Lesson Activity Builder activity desktop, position the arrow cursor on the object.

  2. Left click the object and drag it to a new position on the page.

ClosedTo pause contributions to the Notebook desktop

  1. Press the blue Pause Contributions button in the LAB Student Contribution Activity dialog window.

    The button turns green and its label turns to Resume.

    Students see an Activity Paused message on their computer or device.

  2. Press the button again to resume the activity.

    The button turns blue and the label turns to Pause Contributions.

    The Activity Paused message disappears and students can contribute again.

ClosedTo turn off or on contributor name displays

  1. Press the Off On slider button beside Display Contributor Names.

    Contributor names no longer appear.

ClosedTo end, save and restart the Shout It Out! activity

  1. Press End and Save in the Student Contribution Activity dialog window.

    The Contribution for this activity has ended dialog appears.

  2. Press Restart Activity to continue with the same activity.

You can run only one activity at a time.
