Using the Screen Capture toolbar

The Screen Capture toolbar appears on top of active programs. It enables you to take a screen capture of an image in any window and automatically insert it on a page in a Whiteboard file.

To open the Screen Capture toolbar

1. Control-click the Board Tools icon in the Dock, and then select Screen Capture Toolbar.

   Note 

   If your computer isn’t currently connected to an interactive product, the Board Tools icon includes an X in its lower-right corner.

To take a screen capture of an area

1. Press Area Capture.

   The pointer changes to crosshairs.

2. Drag the crosshairs on the screen to define the area you want to capture.

   An image of this area appears on a page.

To take a screen capture of a window

1. Press Window Capture.

2. Select the window that you want to appear in the screen capture.

   An image of this window appears on a page.

To take a screen capture of the entire screen

1. Press Full Screen Capture.

2. If more than one display is connected to your computer, select the display you want to take a screen capture of, and then press OK.

   An image of this screen appears on a page.

To close the Screen Capture toolbar

1. Press Close in the Screen Capture toolbar.
