Creating and opening files

When you start SMART Meeting Pro PE software, a new blank Whiteboard file opens automatically. You can also create or open another Whiteboard file any time you like.

Notes 

  • SMART Meeting Pro PE software creates new files in the .fcw format, but you can save the files in various formats (see Saving files).

  • In addition to opening .fcw and .notebook files, you can insert PowerPoint and PDF files in SMART Meeting Pro PE software (see Inserting PowerPoint presentations and Inserting PDF files).

ClosedTo create a new Whiteboard file

  1. Select File > New.

    If you were already working on a file, you’re prompted to save it.

  2. Press Yes and follow the on-screen instructions to save your file.

    OR

    Press No to close your file without saving it.

    A new untitled Whiteboard file opens.

ClosedTo open an existing Whiteboard file

  1. Select File > Open.

    The Open dialog box appears.

  2. Browse to and select the file you want to open.

  3. Press Open.
