Playing a video from a connected VCR or DVD/Blu-ray player

If you connect your computer to an interactive product and a video hardware source, such as a VCR or DVD/Blu-ray player, you can play video files from the video hardware source on the interactive product using SMART Video Player.

Notes 

  • You can convert the signal from your VCR or DVD/Blu-ray player into a format that your computer understands using a video capture card.

  • You can also play files that are stored on your computer (see Playing a video file).

ClosedTo write notes over the video frame in digital ink

  1. Press Pen ToolPen Tool icon, and then write on the interactive screen.

    Tip 

    You can configure SMART Video Player to pause the video when you press Pen Tool.

  2. Do the following:

    • To change the color of the digital ink, press Pen ColorPen Color icon, and then select a color from the palette.

    • To change the width of the digital ink, press Pen WidthPen Width icon, and then select a width in the list.

  3. After you finish writing, press SelectSelect icon.
