Search
The Screen Capture toolbar appears on top of active programs. It enables you to take a screen capture of an image in any window and automatically insert it on a page in a Whiteboard file.
To open the Screen Capture toolbar
In Windows 7 operating system, select Start > All Programs > SMART Technologies > SMART Tools > Screen Capture.
OR
In Windows 8 operating system, go to the Apps screen, and then scroll to and select SMART Technologies > Screen Capture.
OR
In Windows 10 operating system, select Start > All apps, and then scroll to and select SMART Technologies > Screen Capture.
To take a screen capture of an area
Press Area Capture.
Tip
Alternatively, press Capture on the SMART Business Toolbar and then select Rectangle Selection.
The pointer changes to crosshairs.
Drag the crosshairs on the screen to define the area you want to capture.
An image of this area appears on a page.
To take a screen capture of a window
Press Window Capture.
Select the window that you want to appear in the screen capture.
An image of this window appears on a page.
To take a screen capture of the entire screen
Press Full Screen Capture.
If more than one display is connected to your computer, select the display you want to take a screen capture of, and then press OK.
Tip
Alternatively, press Capture on the SMART Business Toolbar and then select Full Screen Capture.

To close the Screen Capture toolbar
Press Close in the Screen Capture toolbar.
