Importing a class from Google Classroom
If you’d like to use a Google Classroom in SMART amp software, you can import the class into your SMART amp software account.

You can import a Google class with a class list that includes students from your domain and students from another domain.

To edit or delete a class you imported from Google Classroom, open the class in Google Classroom. You can easily go to Google Classroom from within SMART amp. See Editing a class and participant lists.
To import a class from Google Classroom

On your home page, tap Add.
The Add a class window appears.

Tap Import.
The Import classes from Google Classroom window opens and a Loading icon appears until your Google Classroom classes are loaded.
Notes
- Classes that you haven't imported appear at the top of the window with a green title.
- Classes that are already imported appear at the bottom of the window. Their titles appear in gray to indicate that you can't select them again.
- If you have no classes to import from Google Classroom, tap the Back link to return to the Add a class window to create a new class in SMART amp software, or go to http://classroom.google.com to create a new class in Google Classroom.

Tap a class icon to select it.
Notes
- You can select more than one class.
- You can clear the selection of a class by tapping its icon.

Tap Import.
The Import classes window opens and an Importing icon appears until the Google Classroom classes you selected are imported.
Note
- When a Google class is imported, the Google Classroom folder is automatically picked up as the class folder, and is stored in the My Drive > Classroom folder in SMART amp software.

Tap View classes to go to your SMART amp home page.
Notes

A class icon appears on your home page for each class that is imported.

A Google Classroom icon indicates a class that you imported from Google Classroom.

A class icon with a white background indicates a class that you created in SMART amp software.

Tap a class icon to open its class dashboard.
