Formatting text

After creating text, you can edit it and change its font, size and other properties.

ClosedTo format text

  1. Double-tap the text.

    The text editor appears.

    Notes 

    • If you’re using SMART amp on a computer, the toolbar appears at the top of the text editor. If you’re using SMART amp on a device, the toolbar appears at the bottom of the text editor.

    • If you’re using SMART amp on a computer, tap to make the text editor full screen. Tap again to make the text editor its normal size.

    • You can pan in the workspace while the text editor is open.

    • While the text editor is open, double-tap other text to select and edit it.

  2. Select the text you want to edit. You can change the following properties:

    • Font

    • Size

    • Color

    • Bold, italic and underline

    • Justification

    • List or bullets

    Press to undo the last action. Press to repeat the last action.

  3. When you’re finished, tap to keep your changes and return to the workspace.

Tip 

  • The text editor and toolbar adjusts to fit the browser window size. If the browser window is small, the toolbar becomes compact.

    • Tap to change the font, size and color

    • Tap to add bold, italic and/or underline to your text.

    • Tap to change the justification, make a numbered list or make a bulleted list

  • Tap to return to the toolbar.
